| Heading home is after a long absence is always exciting and wierd all rolled up together like a sushi roll. I must say this time is no different. Although it's meant to be a time of rest, catching up with old friends and sleeping in most days, this time is decidedly different. Recent events with my grandfather has really got me thinking about the value of the time we spend with the ones we love and really letting them know how we feel about them. I must say I haven't always been good at this, but it seems that now as I return home again that I can take advantage of the time that I have with so many that I love and repect. As well as step out on the limb of humility and tell them how what they mean to me. | | |

| Rain, Rain go away!!!.... It's been raining here so much I almost forgot what the sun looks like. It's not just Seattle either, this is like the most rain we've had in a while. I hope it turns to snow by Christmas time. Can you believe it's just around the corner? | | |
| Did I mention I am tired? I just started a second job and am in the middle of fall quarter at school. Needless to say I am exhausted. I really shouldn't complain, after all it's only for a season right? OK OK!!! I'm done complaining now. Meanwhile, it's halloween and I got to go trick or treating tonight with some kids that I know and it was sooo much fun. There were so many kids in the cutest and the coolest costumes. It was just what I needed to refresh my tired self and add some fun into my routine. I did however find myself wishing I could've gone to Aardvarks in search of the perfect costume. Oh well maybe next year!!!!!! | | |
| I don't know why, but I always get nervous before I travel. Especially when I have to fly. Tommorrow I am headed off to Pasadena for a short visit and I find myself wrapped in a cloak of nervous excitement. I am so blessed though because today at work our staff prayed over me and my journey and God so lovingly blessed me with a scripture. "How great is his joy in the victories you bring." I can't remember exactly where it is, psalms I'm pretty sure, but I am so thankful that I am victorious over all fear and whatever the enemy tries to throw at me. I'm sure I'll have stories galore on my return. You'll just have to wait. | | |
